Yaw is the current lead for Injaro’s first local currency fund, IGVCF, that has local Pension Funds as anchor investors.
Yaw has over 17 years of professional experience as a business strategy and operations professional. At Injaro his responsibilities have included operations management, technical assistance management, portfolio management, fundraising, ESG implementation, Impact monitoring and evaluation, and Project management
Prior to joining Injaro, Yaw run high-capacity food manufacturing plants and also handled general manufacturing operations for start-ups. As the Production & Projects Manager for Niche Cocoa Industry, Yaw designed process flow options and led the projects team to select, install and run process equipment for new business lines and successfully led several product development initiatives and delivered customer orders of over US$20 million.
Yaw holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering (first class) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and an MBA (distinction) in Sustainability with additional focus on Strategic Operations, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Exeter.
